Entertainment venues reopens after two years

After more than two years, Windmill Casino has reopened Diamond Lill’s – Bloemfontein’s one-stop entertainment bar and destination.

Closed since the start of the pandemic, the venue reopened on end May 2022 and will once again play host to a range of entertainment from comedy shows, bands and karaoke evenings. The bar offers a relaxed environment and is a casual spot to enjoy time with friends.

“Windmill is pleased to once again be able to support local artists and comedians who were so badly affected during the hard lockdown, allowing them to resume earning their livelihoods while entertaining the public,” said Windmill Casino’s general manager, Johan Oosthuizen.

Diamond Lill’s, which can hold 100 people seated and 180 standing, is ideal for hosting yearend functions and birthday parties.

The venue is currently running its karaoke evenings every Thursday, something that was wildly popular pre-pandemic days, and the property hopes to see familiar faces return once more and harmonise their favourite songs.
